The nature of the art of life is learning constantly, becoming versatile and responsive, becoming accessible and receptive. Instead, we get trapped in routines, patterns, perceptions that give rise to stagnant thinking, memories, and ego. Which impacts negatively and positively the art of life.

Since the last two decades, many countries emerged globally and mainstreamed to globalization and became part of the global village. In this way, they compromised on many traditional, cultural, socio-economic activities as well as the art of life. Hence COVID-19 influenced every field including the art of life across the globe.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic has created chaos among human masses. All the political, cultural, social, development, and economical activities have been halted around the globe. However, when looking at the larger impacts of the pandemic; lockdown, closure of transport, air travel, schools, manufacturing, import and export, religious places, social and cultural activities and reduced access to healthcare following the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting gender deferentially and probably exaggerate established gender inequalities.

Till today (June 3, 2020) a total of 6,514,821 peoples became COVID-19 positive and 384,677 died due to coronavirus. As the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases continues to rise and schools, workplaces and public gathering spaces across the world remain closed. This lockdown and social distancing trapped the peoples into their homes. All the social life activities have been banned, except online business and non-business activities. Peoples were advised to work from home. According to different online survey results, more than 43% of people’s life has changed in a major way.

Just imagine, only in the USA, more than 30 million peoples have filed for the unemployment benefits in the last six weeks only. And the China, US, UK, Germany, Italy, France, Japan the topmost economies of the world are on the verge of collapse. The COVID-19 reduced global trade values by 3 percent, also it affected the Global GDP growth, Global trade, and investment and increased Global poverty from 0.8 to 1.5% points. Some reports depict that about 420 million additional people living in extreme poverty.

COVID-19 pandemic has badly damaged the tourism industry, as almost every country-restricted international travel for reducing the transmission of COVID-19 and the customers canceled business trips, vacation trips, and holiday family trips. According to the prediction of the World Tourism Organization (WTO) of the United Nations global tourism decreased by 20 to 30 percent with a possible loss of US$ 30–50 billion.

COVID-19 has impacted religious activities as it affected the art of life. This pandemic has influenced religion in a different way, including the cancelation of worship at common religious places, closure of Sunday School, as well as the cancelation of the religious festival. Almost in all countries, many churches, synagogues, mosques, and temples have been closed for worship, and peoples have been suggested to worship at home until the COVID-19 is not ending. On other hands, millions of the peoples are praying for the early end of COVID-19 from the world, besides it, they are praying for more wisdom for physicians and scientists to combat the disease.

Around the globe, peoples have been advised to work from home and online businesses. The high-level conference, meetings, seminars, and training has been planned and are being conducted on zoom, skype, and WhatsApp. Peoples shifted from hard copies of newspapers, magazines, and books to e-newsletters, e-magazines, e-newspapers, blogs, YouTube, and many other online sources of information. It creates a very high demand for online shopping, e-markets, and e-entertainments. While peoples remained to stay indoors. and the user of Netflix and Amazon increased dramatically.

Conclusion

The art of life has started the digestion of this pandemic issue. It also started accepted may new measures including no handshake, social distancing, no outdoor gatherings of wine and whiskey. And also no high standard marriage ceremonies, restrictions in all social, political, cultural and religious activities. As it is a new pandemic so there were no tested copping strategies and now which is being established around the globe as we have copying strategies for other disasters. Global think-thank, policymakers, lawmakers, scientists, and professionals of different sectors are working hard to cope with the situation and introduce some reasonable, globally acceptable policies and coping strategies for all sectors and art of life.

  1. I am so so so ready to get things back to normal! It’s impacted us all tremendously in both positive and negative ways, but I am officially ready for life to start again.

  4. It is crazy how Covid impacted the world. In a blink of an eye, it seemed that it was able to shut down the world. I am ready for summer to come and things be partially back to normal.

  5. I think COVID-19 had made a division in the world, Before Corona (BC) and After Corona, I don’t think things can ever be the same again. Too many changes in the lifestyle, in the way we will plan our future, our businesses, our travel, nothing will be the same again. Even though I just hope it does.

  12. I think it’s going to be a LONG time till the world goes back to any sort of normal, and that makes me so sad. I loved my daily routine and being able to pop out to eat or see family and friends whenever I wanted. It’s taken me a long time to adjust to this new way of life 🙁
